本集精介 這六張CD收錄了一百零一首聖誕雋永名曲，從通俗聖誕歌謠到古典音樂中的聖誕創作。其中前兩張收錄的是劍橋國王學院合唱團所演唱的通俗傳統聖誕歌謠，從《馬槽聖嬰》到《信眾齊來》，都是聖誕節經常在教堂、電視、電台和公共場所聽到的知名旋律。
第三和第四張則是由作曲家約翰洛特（John Rutter）所親自編寫的的聖誕歌謠，早期的約翰洛特就是因為改編了聖誕歌謠成功而打響他的名號，從而成為知名的合唱作曲家。他早期就在劍橋的聖克萊爾學院合唱團中演唱兼指揮，這份工作讓他很清楚合唱音樂編寫創作的細節。
第五張CD收錄的則是眾位歌劇巨星如帕華洛第、蘇莎蘭、卡娜娃等人的聖誕專輯中挑選出來的聖誕歌謠。當年這些聖誕專輯在灌錄時都特別針對每位歌唱家的唱腔編寫這些歌謠的編曲，因此每一首都獨具風味。
最後一張CD則收錄了像是巴哈聖誕神劇和韓德爾彌賽亞等應景的古典音樂，這都是特別為聖誕節創作的古典名作。
這張專輯的曲目收錄了包括Decca和Philips旗下近半世紀來的聖誕經典名曲，相信能陪您渡過好幾個難忘的美好聖誕。
